Vintage Mermaids Series 2004- present

This series I started way back in 2004 before I even knew I was going to be doing art professionally.
It originally started out with the idea to celebrate the beauty of the female form, and beauty of the women from our past. Its still about beauty, however it has evolved over time as I have evolved as an artist, to have deeper meaning.

My newest mermaids speak of the world in which we live and the environmental challenges our world faces each day and yet I hope they also still reflect the timeless classic beauty of the female form, as well as the beauty of the ethnicitys and cultures which they represent.

What's Next In the series?

The next mermaid is to be Zirconia. Due to start some time soon in 2010!
